Released on the German label [ parvoart ] and now out of print, Percolate features experimental and ambient compositions built from skeletal piano melodies and augmented with electronics and acoustic recordings. Evoking Labradford in their El Luxo So phase, or later period Harold Budd, Baltimore-based M. Ostermeier has fashioned a a mini-album of melancholic stillness, a beautiful fusion of understated electronic and acoustic textures.
